What does it mean?

to sponsor a practitioner

By sponsoring a practitioner you are:

  • Helping communities across South Africa that live in abject poverty affecting young children.
  • Providing a FUTURE for not only a passion-filled individual but also for young children from impoverished areas!
  • Your funding means an opportunity for skills development and a qualification in Early Childhood Development.
  • One practitioner impacts the development of 30 – 50 young children – establishing a firm foundation for their education trajectory.

How do I

SPONSOR A PRACTITIONER?

It costs R18,000 to train and capacitate a passion-filled individual to provide an effective ECD programme to young vulnerable children.

You can also contribute towards the supply of educational toys for the children through toy kits filled with quality toys from our TREE Toy Shop.

SPONSORSHIP OUTCOMES:

  1. Empowered communities by developing champions that lead ECD programmes.
  2. Investment towards the next generation.
  3. Sustained livelihoods and a guaranteed future for children.

Stay connected

WITH YOUR PRACTITIONER

As a sponsor you will have a direct connection with your practitioner through:

  • Progress reports.
  • Field visits to your practitioner’s ECD site where you can spend time with the children and practitioner you have assisted.

By contributing to TREE’s work you are able to receive a section 18A tax exemption.

Our focus

QUALITY EDUCATION

Across South Africa, there are communities living in abject poverty which affects young children’s development.

Communities that often reach a point of paralysis where they cannot see a way out of their dire situation.

Tree has a vision that ensures young children develop to their full potential in line with their rights and needs – a way out of the poverty cycle!

At the core of TREE’s mission is capacity building, focusing on quality education and training programmes for those responsible for the care of young children.

A passion

FOR YOUNG CHILDREN

In every community that TREE works in, there are always individuals that have a BIG heart and passion for the young children they work with.

The vulnerability of the areas we work in often leads to little or no means of development and qualifications to fuel the passion that comes with working with young children!
